\nShellWatch.nl\u00a0gathers information on Shell\u2019s climate-related promises, activities and investments worldwide on a timeline and an interactive map. This is meant\u00a0to help get an overview of the\u00a0available information related to Shell’s role in the energy transition. The website also provides space for guest contributions on an \u2018analysis\u2019 page.\u00a0For now Shellwatch.nl is only available in Dutch, but we are planning to translate it into English\u00a0over the next months.
\nWhy?<\/strong>
\nShell says that it supports the Paris Agreement. At the same time the company continues to invest billions in the development of new oil and gas fields.\u00a0Milieudefensie has developed ShellWatch.nl to analyse to what extent Shell\u2019s actions\u00a0are in line with Shell\u2019s rhetoric on climate change. The website will\u00a0tell the true story on Shell’s role in the energy transition.<\/p>\n\n
