Шановні Друзі!
Зелений світ/Друзі Землі України вітає всіх з новорічними святами. Рік, що минає був особливо важким для всіх українців. Ми підтвердили, що ми є вільним народом, народом не тільки з безмежним терпінням, але й з безмежною самовіддачею, героїзмом, взаємною підтримкою та самоорганізацією. Для всього світу ми стали народом року.
Ми зробили найважчий крок, ми нарешті зачинили двері в радянське минуле. Попереду ще багато труднощів, непростих рішень, вагань та шаленої протидії тих, хто не хоче нічого міняти. Попереду важкий шлях. Наша мета – Україна, як рівна серед перших у світі країн, заможної, розвинутої, приємної для життя, – майорить все ще десь за обрієм. Але ми вже на шляху і це чудово!
На нашій території йде новий етап боротьби глобальних систем. Недарма нам з усіх сил заважає наш “великий брат” Росія. Країна, яка не змогла черговий раз вирватися з полону імперських амбіцій, культу особистості, сліпої віри у бездоганність власних правителів. Наша Революція гідності кинула виклик всьому, на чому базується державність в Росії. І саме тому почалася шалена протидія нашому вибору з боку північно-східного сусіда.
Наша перемога остаточно відправить в могилу “совєцький мір”. Ми живемо в ХХІ сторіччі. Це світ модернових інформаційних технологій, світ особистої свободи, але обмеженої свободою інших. Ми маємо не тільки перемогти минуле, ми також маємо побудувати майбутнє. Наслідки радянської промисловості у вигляді великої кількості екологічно небезпечних підприємств, орієнтація на видобуток ресурсів та виробництво “брудної енергії”, а не на екологічно чисте виробництво – є тими проблемами, які нам потрібно вирішувати. Екологічно безпечна, орієнтована на “зелене” виробництво, яка дбає про здоров’я населення такою ми хочемо бачити Україну. Ми почали ці зміни в цьому році, ми продовжимо їх у наступному.
А зараз трішки перепочинемо, згадаємо тих кого ми втратили в цьому році, привітаємо друзів які поряд з нами, обіймемо любих і піднімемо келих за Новий Рік, за нас, за Україну!

Dear Friends!
Zeleny Svit / Friends of the Earth Ukraine congratulates all on the New Year. This year was especially difficult for all Ukrainians. We confirmed that we are a free nation, not just people with infinite patience, but with boundless dedication, heroism, mutual support and self-organization. For all the world, we have become a nation of the year.
We made the most difficult step, we finally closed the door to the Soviet past. There are still a lot of difficulties, complicated decisions, hesitation and furious oppression of those who do not want to change anything. Ahead there is a hard way. Our goal – Ukraine as an equal one among the first countries of the world, prosperous and developed, pleasant to live – still hovers somewhere beyond the horizon. But we are on the way and it’s great!
There is a new stage of the struggle of global systems on our territory. No wonder our “big brother” Russia prevents us from growth so hard. A country that could not again escape from ambitions of an empire, the cult of personality, blind faith in the perfection of their own rulers. Our Revolution of dignity has challenged everything what the state of Russia is based on. And that is why a furious oppression to our choise has taken place from part of the north-eastern neighbor.
Our victory finally sends to the grave “the Soviet world.” We live in the XXI century. This is the world of new information technology, the world of personal freedom, but limited by freedom of others. We must not only defeat the past, we also have to build a future. The results of Soviet industry in the form of a large number of environmentally hazardous enterprises focused on mining resources and production of “dirty energy” and environmentally non-friendly production – are the problems that we must solve. Environmentally safe, focused on “green” production, which takes care of health – that’s what we want to see Ukraine. We started the changes this year, we shall continue them as follows.
Now it’s time to have some rest, to recall those who we’ve lost this year, welcome friends who are close to us, embrace the dearest and raise glasses for the New Year, for us, for Ukraine!
